Forbrugerombudsmanden har anlagt en sag mod Jyske Bank vedrørende bankens opkrævning af negative renter på visse konkrete opsparingskonti og to særligt regulerede konti. Klager til Ankenævnet over negative renter vil blive sat i bero og afvente endelig domstolsafgørelse i den af Forbrugerombudsmanden anlagte sag.

Ved indgivelse af klagen skal du angive, om den angår negative renter eller andre forhold. Hvis du angiver, at klagen angår negative renter, vil den automatisk blive sat i bero.

The Danish Consumer Ombudsman has initiated proceedings against Jyske Bank regarding the bank’s charging of negative interest rates in connection with certain savings accounts and two particularly regulated accounts. Complaints to the Danish Financial Complaint Board concerning negative interest rates will be put on hold pending the final decision made by the court in the case initiated by the Danish Consumer Ombudsman.
You may file a complaint with the Danish Financial Complaint Board concerning negative interest rates by completing the complaint form here at this website as well as paying the mandatory complaint fee. When you file the complaint, you have to state if the complaint concerns negative interest rates or other issues. If you state that the complaint concerns negative interests, the case will automatically be put on hold.
If you wish to file a complaint concerning both negative interest rates and other issues, you have to file two separate complaints with the Danish Financial Complaint Board. The complaint concerning negative interest rates will be put on hold while the complaint concerning other issues will be handled according to the Complaint Board’s usual procedure.
