The financial institution is bound by the Complaint Board's decision and the decision is enforceable unless the financial institution within 30 days after the service of the decision to the financial institution informs the Complaint Board that the financial institution does not wish to be bound by the decision. Decisions from the Complaint Board are otherwise enforceable and the bailiff's court can help you enforce your claim, where a decision is not followed by a bank. For further information about enforcement please visit www.domstol.dk. If you petition the enforcement court to enforce the decision, both the Complaint Board's decision and a written statement from the Complaint Board stating that the financial institution has not, within the 30 day period after the service of the decision, informed the Complaint Board that it does not wish to be bound by the decision, must be enclosed. The Danish Competition and Consumer Authority at Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, may in some cases cover expenses incurred in relation to enforcement of a decision from the Complaint Board.
For your information the case can be time barred if your petition to the bailiff's court is handed in later than a year after the Complaint Board's decision.
